Dear Friend,

Welcome to our second issue of "Making A Difference". From this point on, our newsletter will be published monthly. I was not able to produce a September issue because of a death in the family. Please forgive.

As I stated in our premiere issue, I am trying my best to express why I feel it is so important that we connect with others who are on the same "wavelength" as we are. The opportunity that we have before us is awesome.

By working together, for the common good of all, we truly can make a difference. In this issue, you'll find some great ideas and tools to help you get your home business moving in the right direction - toward complete financial independence. Then, you can really live your life the way you want to live it.

There is also a very late-breaking item that I want to let you in on. It just could be one of those rare, "life-changing" opportunities that you'll want to take advantage of. It literally just became available. You are one of the first to hear about it. The Real Power is Available To You Now ...

Just about everyone realizes that the Internet and World Wide Web are rapidly changing the world in which we live. However, even the "experts" can't seem to agree on what the greatest benefit of this technology actually is.

Certainly, the Internet and the World Wide Web have broken down geographical boundaries when it comes to communication. This is obviously a powerful benefit. It allows small business to compete on a much more level playing field with the huge multi-national corporations. It allows us to easily keep in touch with friends who have moved far away without having to run up huge telephone bills. We can even send them wonderful pictures, allowing them to share some of our finest moments in ways we never could previously, at lightning speed. But, is this the greatest benefit? I don't think so.

The Internet and Web have also provided almost unlimited access to information. If you need fast answers to questions or problems, the odds are pretty good that you can find the information you seek relatively quickly on the Web. This is also a big benefit. But, is it the greatest? Not even close.

How about the way it has given the consumer the power to really do comparison shopping so that everyone can find the best deal on that new product or service they're ready to purchase? Is that a great benefit or what? But, is this the greatest? Again, not even close.

The list of benefits we receive from this amazing technology go on and on. There are so many that we could write volumes about the subject. I'm sure that you can list many more benefits that you feel are wonderful products of this technology. We all can.

But, one of the benefits of publishing your own newsletter is that you get to tell everybody else what you think about certain topics. So, I'm going to take advantage of that right now.

I believe that the REAL power of this technology is more fundamental than anything we've discussed so far. The Internet and World Wide Web have not only improved mass communication, supplied great storehouses of knowledge and information for us to draw upon, and provided us with the ability to stay in touch with friends among other things. No, they have given us much more than these things (even though everyone of these and more are indeed great gifts).

No, as wonderful as all of those benefits are, I think they pale in comparison to the REAL power that this wonderful technology provides. So, what is the greatest benefit in my opinion?

It has given us the opportunity to establish and build RELATIONSHIPS on a global scale. It allows us to eliminate geographical boundaries, to forget about ethnic or cultural differences, to communicate one-on-one in ways that would never be possible without it. Even language barriers are easily overcome with translation software that is readily available. There are no groups in power that can stop us from talking to, and sharing ideas with, each other. At least not yet. This technology gives us the power to change lives.

That is true POWER. It's the power to share our views, to help each other grow, to help awaken people to the truth about how, with the help of the media, those in power have literally brainwashed us into believing that they know what is best for us. It gives us the power to get the facts and make up our own minds about important issues rather than just accepting what the "Power brokers" tell us to believe or think.

This technology gives us the power to help each other in ways that were simply not possible just a few short years ago. It allows us to take the best features of the past, such as the ability to build personal relationships that are REAL, and the best of the present, such as the freedom to use this technology to gain financial independence by building a home business that is in accordance with our dreams and ideals.

The Internet and World Wide Web give us an opportunity that no generation has ever had. We can literally change the world. By joining together, we can create a world where ignorance and poverty no longer exist. But we have to do it the right way - with honesty and integrity. Let's show everyone that you don't have to take advantage of the consumer to make generous profits, that by building honest relationships and working for the good of all, we all can prosper.

There is enough wealth on this earth for every man, woman and child to live like royalty. We can help begin the transformation. Build a home business that you can be proud of - that makes a difference. Sell only the best quality products and services. Treat your customers and clients like family - because they are. We're all in this together, connected in ways that most can only imagine. The latest discoveries in science are proving it. Learn. Teach. Share. Let's change the world!

To quote Tom 'Big Al' Schreiter, "People do business with you because they know, like and trust you"

People will most always get into business with you because they know who you are,and because you are likeable to them. They will NOT get into business with you because of your flashy website, or slick flash presentation. These are merely tools for you to share information. People will get into business with you because of you.

As you display your credibility, judgment, expertise, values and integrity, you'll have what I call a "Well rounded personality package." This is critical when it comes to recruiting on the internet. All the domains and autoresponders in the world will gain you nothing in this business until you insert "You" into the equation. You are their link to your network marketing company, so you had better do a great job at marketing you.

Bulletin boards and chat rooms abound on the internet. If you regularly contribute (I emphasize the word contribute) to discussion forums, you have a great opportunity to build your credibility and market brand yourself to a worldwide audience. "All the world is a stage", Nowhere is this truer than on the internet. Becoming a regular (now I'm emphasizing the word regular) contributor on a discussion forum gives you the opportunity to show people your expertise, and build your credibility and trust.

Consistency and patience are the keys to success when it comes to recruiting from the internet. The worst possible thing you can do is be too quick to "Pitch" your deal. What's the hurry anyway? Take your time with people and make friends with them before you so much as mention the company you represent. It's more important to be there everyday with consistent input and well thought out contributions, in the form of articles and teaching. This is what people look for when choosing a business partner, faithfulness and a level head. NEVER be argumentative with other people. The second you do that, your credibility is shot and you just took a giant step backwards.

It's a people business and regardless of how big the internet becomes, that will never change.
